Pink Mindset and Lemon Ears is a sculptural dialogue between Bulgarian artist Lora Nestorova and Ecuadorian artist José Cobos. Using a contemporary adaptation of the Surrealist cadavre exquis, each sculpture is built blind in three sections — head, torso and legs — each artist responding only to the cues left by the other at the joints. IRA is the anatomy of anger. • Head (Lora): Draws from contemporary digital culture, specifically the exaggerated "angry face" meme of SpongeBob SquarePants, capturing the absurdity and intensity of sudden rage. • Torso (José): A woman in a confrontational stance, her hand transformed into a large, accusing finger. Hidden behind her, the other hand takes the form of a Doberman's head — a metaphor for how hands become weapons during a conflict, the stored aggression and impatience that accumulate as an argument escalates. • Legs (Lora): Set in a tense, aggressive stance, captured mid-motion stomping on the floor, ready for a physical or emotional fight.
